Abingdon is the oldest incorporated town west of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It has an exceptionally rich history tied closely to Colonial Virginia and the westward expansion of our nation. A very private guest room is located on the second level at one end of the house.

A large bedroom, study, bathroom, and walk-in closet serve as the owner's quarters. This area of very private living space is located on an upper level at the other end of the house and offers inspiring views of the property. Chateau Morrisette Winery adjoins the property and Villa Appalaccia Winery is nearby. The Town of Floyd offers interesting one-of-a-kind shops as well as live music venues and unique restaurants. The Floyd Country Store hosts the popular bluegrass and country music jamboree weekly.
